Moët Hennessy, the Wines & Spirits division of LVMH, reaffirms its commitment to sustainability and preserving exceptional terroirs with the second edition of the World Living Soils Forum (WLSF), organized in partnership with ChangeNOW.
This high-profile international event took place on October 8-9 at LUMA Arles, bringing together key stakeholders committed to soil regeneration, including winegrowers, farmers, scientists, NGOs and businesses. Two days of collaboration and exchanges centered on a shared goal: accelerate the transition to agricultural practices that better respect the environment.
A unique event dedicated to soil health the WLSF was launched by Moët Hennessy in 2022 to preserve the precious ecosystems of soils. The forum encompassed inspiring conferences, interactive roundtables and workshops, creating a propitious environment to share best practices, identify innovative solutions and unlock synergies among different actors.
Key themes of the 2024 WLSF included:
- Financing the transition: Mobilizing the financial resources needed to support the adoption of regenerative agriculture practices.
- Soil heath and measurement: Develop indicators and shared methodology to track and improve soil health on a global scale.
- Nature-based solutions: Highlight solutions inspired by nature, such as agroforestry and regenerative hydrology to preserve biodiversity and soil fertility.
- Social engagement: Raise public awareness of the importance of soil health and encourage responsible consumption.
