2023 HIGHLIGHTS
Louis Vuitton
In June, Pharrell Williams lit up Paris with his first collection as Creative Director menswear. Presented in the heart of the French capital on the Pont Neuf bridge, the looks featured myriad references and elevated the Louis Vuitton heritage. The iconic Damier checkerboard canvas segued into camouflage and the Marque L. Vuitton Déposée logo from the Maison’s archives made its debut, appearing throughout the collection.
Dior
Maria Grazia Chiuri unveiled a captivating prefall collection in Mumbai, conceived in collaboration with the Chanakya ateliers and the Chanakya School of Craft. The Artistic Director for Dior Women’s collections featured the craft of embroidery, reinterpreting the multiple landscapes of India and celebrating the feelings and emotions that link people to a country and its culture.
Loewe
During the halftime show of the Superbowl, one of the world’s most-watched sporting events, Rihanna captivated the entire world in her custom Loewe look. The red monochrome of multiple layers and textures showcased the Spanish house’s exquisite savoir-faire, combining a sleek silk jersey foundation, a sculpted leather corset and a cotton canvas flight suit.
Celine
Celine expanded its fragrance universe, inaugurating two Haute Parfumerie spaces, on at the prestigious Bon Marché Rive Gauche in Paris and the second at its flagship in Kobe, Japan. These luxurious settings bring a new sensory experience to the fragrances created by Celine Artistic and Image Director Hedi Slimane.
