As a long-standing partner of the cities of Clichy-sous-Bois and Montfermeil through its social responsibility initiatives, LVMH is sponsoring the Cultures & Creation Fashion Show for the fifteenth consecutive year, which celebrates its 20th edition this year.

Launched in 2005, this Fashion Show features amateur designers and models and aims to highlight creativity, cultural diversity, and local talent. It also offers young people far removed from the fashion industry a chance to be recognized. Beyond the show, LVMH supports a wide range of initiatives focused on young people in Montfermeil: Masterclasses (makeup, sewing, and catwalk) held ahead of the show, donations of materials, immersive internships, and mentoring for young talents, including middle and high school students. This approach reflects the Group’s social responsibility vision, promoting equal opportunity, local creativity, the transmission of know-how, and the inspiration of future generations.

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Cultures & Creation Fashion Show, over 150 designers showcased their outfits under the theme “Montfermeil: Peace in Every Stitch” (« Montfermeil : la paix sous toutes ses coutures »), with around 40 countries represented. The show took place at the heart of the Domaine Formigé in Seine-Saint-Denis, gathering over 2,000 attendees in an immersive and symbolic setting.

“The Cultures & Creation Fashion Show represents a genuine opportunity for encounters between fashion and creation enthusiasts, both amateurs and professionals. It was also through this Fashion Show that we arrived in Seine-Saint-Denis, in Clichy-sous-Bois and Montfermeil, and from there we carry out actions to showcase the richness of our crafts. We are committed to translating LVMH's commitments to equal opportunities in concrete ways; like today, where for fifteen years, we have been very happy to support this Fashion Show and to encourage the vitality and creativity of over 150 designers coming together," said Maud Alvarez-Pereyre, Group Chief Human Resources Officer, LVMH.

“This fifteen-year commitment has been built with local stakeholders in support of their actions, driven by shared values: inclusion, excellence, and the transmission of knowledge. Each edition is a reminder that talent and passion for creation know no boundaries. It’s a dynamic force that strengthens our commitment to social responsibility,” added Olivier Théophile, Director of Social Responsibility, LVMH.

For this edition, two juries were assembled to reward the young talents highlighted by the Group. The Couture Jury – composed of Maud Alvarez-Pereyre (Group Chief Human Resources Officer, LVMH), Olivier Théophile (Director of Social Responsibility, LVMH), Isabelle Faggianelli (Director of Corporate Social Responsibility, Christian Dior Couture), and Maurizio Liotti (Industrial Director, Ready-to-Wear, Christian Dior Couture) – awarded the “Young Talent” Prize to Savanah Cherki and the “Emerging Talent” Prize to Kélian Primeon.

The Beauty Jury – composed of Mathilde Meunier (Global Human Resources Director, Guerlain), Florence Rodriguez (Global Retail & Education Manager, Guerlain), and Agathe Gire (Fashion and Beauty Editor, Marie Claire) – awarded the “Beauty” Prize to Flavy Caldas Amorim.

Each year, the Group’s Maisons are actively involved both ahead of and during the event through a series of initiatives:

  • Masterclasses: Over 200 amateur designers and models received guidance from professional teams from the Christian Dior Couture, Guerlain, Kenzo, and La Samaritaine during masterclasses (exploration, makeup and sewing), as well as from professionals such as Ben Dos, a choreographer discovered during a previous show, who supported participants in learning runway techniques.
  • Candidate support: On the day of the show, these one-night models were styled by makeup artists from Guerlain.
  • Material donations (fabrics) by Christian Dior Couture, Berluti, and Kenzo to foster the creativity of amateur designers.

With this initiative, the Group reaffirms its support to the transmission of know-how, creativity and the celebration of individuality. The Cultures & Creation Fashion Show embodies this vision by highlighting the vitality of the territories and inspiring young generations to envision themselves within the world of fashion and creation.

This approach is part of LVMH’s broader CSR strategy, especially in Seine-Saint-Denis, a region marked by significant inequalities in access to employment and training. LVMH is particularly involved by proposing:

  • Immersive internships: Each year, LVMH and its Maisons offer 200 internship opportunities for middle and high school students in Seine-Saint-Denis to explore careers in luxury, design, and heritage.
  • You & ME Program: Launched in 2015 in Clichy-sous-Bois, this annual recruitment and guidance tour promotes the Group’s Métiers d’Excellence through hands-on workshops, meet-and-greets with artisans and recruiters, and concrete opportunities for training and employment in craftsmanship, creation, and customer experience.
  • The LIVE initiative (L’Institut des Vocations pour l’Emploi), launched in 2019, supports adults over the age of 25 who have been out of the workforce for at least a year, helping them build new career paths through personalized guidance.

The first LIVE campus opened in Clichy-sous-Bois, reflecting the Group’s commitment to staying closely connected to local realities.
