LVMH Circularity

Announced during the LIFE360 Summit in December 2023, LVMH Circularity aims to revalorize the Group's strategic products and materials, as well as facilitate their reintegration into the value chains of the Maisons by introducing the concept of "close loop" on a large scale.

It guarantees traceability of materials and products at the end of their life, while ensuring compliance with regulations. It concerns all of the Group's business sectors and is continuously developing new know-how, from reuse to material recycling and upcycling.

Initiated through the Perfumes & Cosmetics business, LVMH Circularity is expanding into the Fashion & Leather Goods sector by building an ecosystem that includes CEDRE dismantling platform, Nona Source, Weturn and the Agence du don en nature, which allows Maisons to guide and recycle all of their unsold or unused products or components.

The circular economy is an essential lever for preserving our natural resources and reducing our environmental impact. In its approach, LVMH Circularity reinforces the strategy of the creative circularity pillar of LIFE360 and the achievement of the Group's objectives.

CEDRE

Launched in 2010, CEDRE (Centre Environnemental de Déconditionnement et Recyclage Ecologique) was initially dedicated to the dismantling, sorting and recovery of all waste from the manufacture, packaging, distribution and sale of perfumes and cosmetic products. This unpacking platform is home to several sources: obsolete packaging items and alcoholic products, advertising elements, testers used in stores and empty packaging brought back by customers to the store. Since 2023, the platform has also welcomed materials and products from fashion and leather goods Maisons – such as leather or textile offcuts, prototypes, rolls, even unsold and branded products.

Nona Source

Born out of the DARE intrapreneurship program within LVMH, Nona Source revalorizes unused fabrics and leathers from LVMH's Fashion and Leather Goods Maisons for major players in the fashion and luxury industry, and allows young designers to source exclusive materials at an unbeatable price. The startup provides a concrete solution to address the challenges and opportunities of circularity, a key pillar of LVMH's environmental strategy, LIFE 360.

Weturn

Created in 2020, Weturn offers a service 100% dedicated to textile recycling, enabling major fashion Maisons, textile professionals and manufacturers to recycle their stocks, production offcuts, and products protected by intellectual property into new yarns and fabrics. The company has thus created an exclusive channel allowing its customers to access a network of logisticians, recyclers, spinners and textile manufacturers united around a common goal - to respect resources and raw materials by extending their lifespan. The startup won the LVMH Innovation Award 2022 in the "Sustainability" category.
