Métiers of Purchasing

Direct Purchasing teams are in charge of defining and implementing the best sourcing practices for a specific category that is directly integrated in the final product (pack, leather, glass…).

Indirect Purchasing teams are in charge of managing non-production purchases, representing all the products and services that a company needs to operate but that are not directly related to its core business.

Trade Purchasing position holders are responsible for planning, selecting, and purchasing goods and merchandises that are sold in our retail stores. They source new and review existing partnerships to ensure Maison's competitiveness with other retailers.

Procurement position holders are responsible for ensuring the execution of the supply plan: manage stock level, place procurement orders in respect of the purchasing strategy, follow up the ordering process from order entry to payment, ensure the relationship with suppliers, manage claims.
