  • The ME Institute was founded in 2014 to pass on savoir-faire defined by excellence in 43 Craft, Creative and Client Experience métiers, targeting both young generations and people seeking reskilling opportunities.

    In each training program, students follow courses that comprise both technical learning and theory, in partnership with prestigious schools and universities and at LVMH Maisons, working under paid apprenticeship and skills development contracts.ME Institute students learn foreign languages as well, and meet experts and tour workshops and stores during Master Classes. At the end of their training they receive two degrees – one from their school and the Brevet d’Excellence certificate, recognized by all LVMH Maisons and partners of the Group.

    THE LEADING WORK-STUDY PROGRAM IN THE LUXURY SECTOR

    The ME Institute is now present in eight countries – France, Switzerland, Italy, the United States, Spain, Japan and Germany – and had an aggregate graduation rate of 93% for all schools.

    TRAINING AT OUR PARTNER MAISONS

    Students in all the different training programs take courses that combine theory and technical learning at prestigious schools and universities, with work experience at LVMH Maisons under paid apprenticeship or skills developmentcontracts.

    EXCLUSIVE MASTER CLASSES

    During the different Master Classes, students have opportunities to meet experts or tour workshops and stores.

    BREVET D'EXCELLENCE LVMH CERTIFICATE

    Upon completing their training, students receive two diplomas, one from the school and the Brevet d'Excellence certificate, recognized by all LVMH Maisons and their partners.

    INNOVATIVE TEACHING METHODS

    Students benefit from an innovative learning approach as they acquire the unique skills of our different métiers, including concrete hands-on learning and opportunities to test different skills. This is joined by practical training in the stores of LVMH Maisons.

    PREPARE YOUR APPLICATION

    Your application must contain:

    • A résumé
    • A cover letter explaining your motivation
    • A completed application form (available for download from the school website)
    • A book / portfolio for one of the Design training programs

    SUBMITTING YOUR APPLICATION 

    Send your application directly to the partner school you have selected (details for submitting applications are available from each school).

    PRESELECTION BY SCHOOLS

    Partner schools establish a shortlist of applicants who are invited to an interview by phone and then asked to take a practical test.For Couture and Leather Goods programs, for example, a psychotechnical test is required.

    INTERVIEW

    Applicants are then contacted by the human resources teams at LVMH Maisons for individual interviews, either in person or video calls. For Retail professions, applicants are invited to attend a recruitment day to take part in in-store exercises.

    CONTRACT PROPOSAL

    Once an applicant has been approved by the Maison, you will receive an offer for a work-study contract, encompassing theoretical learning at the school and practical application of knowledge at an LVMH Maison.

    REGISTRATION

    To register, you will have to send the school:

    • Completed registration documents, conform to the school’s requirements
    • The signed work-study contract
    And send the Institut ME :
    • A signed copy of the learner’s guide.

    BEGINNING OF TRAINING

    Your training will begin in September or October, depending on the country, and last one or two years, depending on the program selected.
