LVMH Inclusion Index

The Group’s observatory to recognize and stimulate Diversity and Inclusion initiatives across the Group.

LVMH created the Inclusion Index in 2018 to recognize and stimulate Diversity and Inclusion initiatives across the Group, its Maisons, regions and employee networks.

Designed by a team of five LVMH employees – from TAG Heuer, LVMH Fashion Group, Le Bon Marché, Sephora and Louis Vuitton – during a DARE event on gender equity, the Inclusion Index was launched to measure and stimulate initiatives by LVMH and its Maisons to achieve better gender balance within the Group. The Inclusion Index has broadened its scope in 2029 to include initiatives related to inclusion of the LGBTI+ community. Since 2022, it captures all Diversity & Inclusion Initiatives under 6 reporting categories: Gender Equity, LGBTI+ Inclusion, Disability Inclusion, Origins (national & social), Generations and Inclusive Culture (cross‑cutting initiatives to enhance the overall experience of our talent, partners and customers).

Each year, talents from across the Group are invited to vote for their preferred initiatives and the finalists for each category are then evaluated by a high-level esteemed Jury, composed of LVMH Executive Committee Members, CEOs and Men’s Creative Director for Louis Vuitton, who select the winners based on criteria related to impact, creativity and engagement.

In 2023, more than 260 Diversity & Inclusion were submitted by Maisons, regions and employee networks across the world, spanning from all across the business, from the HR teams to employee networks and all functions across our organisations: from talent management to procurement and client engagement – because it is everyone’s business.
